I have worn many hats in my lifetime- dutiful daughter, student, mother, counselor, manager, and later a Doctor of Education. I recently came to a time in my life when I felt ready to question the expectations of other people for my life and to instead begin a journey to create a life that reflects my creativity, my passions, and my purpose.

I asked the question “What do I want for my life?” and "How can I create a life that supports my growth and allows me to support the growth of other people?"

I am challenging the stories we have been told about why success looks and forged my own path to personal accomplishments. I have found my art and now have a desire to share it with others.

This is the start of a new journey of self expression and creativity. I am putting aside a former version of myself, moving out of my comfort zone, and leaning into a new way of defining myself as a creative.
